Hi everyone!

Here we continue with the project of the Royal Jewelry!
Today, Disney Princess Jasmine is our protagonist, which we remember from the 1992 film Aladdin.

The story of Aladdin was added to the "Thousand and One Nights" by his French translator, Antoine Galland, who heard it of a Syrian storyteller from Aleppo in 1704.

However, although considered an Arabian tale because of its source, or because it was included in "The Thousand and One Nights" (from the year 899), the characters in the story are neither Arab nor Persian, but from the Far East . The story, like others of the "Thousand and One Nights", is in China, which is probably just a literary license to place in a faraway place, since otherwise the action takes place in a totally Islamic where most people are Muslim.

It is for this reason that the story is usually placed in Arabia, including Disney, which made the story go on in Agrabah.

Aquí seguimos con el proyecto de las Joyas Reales!
Hoy la Princesa Disney protagonista es Jasmine, la cual recordamos de la película de 1992 Aladdin.

El cuento de Aladino (Aladdin) fue incorporado a "Las mil y una noches" por su traductor francés, Antoine Galland, quien la oyó de un cuentista sirio de Alepo en 1704.
Sin embargo, aunque se considera un cuento árabe debido a su fuente, o porque fue incluido en "Las mil y una noches" (data del año 899), los personajes de la historia no son árabes ni persas, sino más bien del Lejano Oriente. El cuento, como otros de "Las mil y una noches", se sitúa en China, lo cual es probablemente sólo una licencia literaria para situarlo en un lugar lejano, ya que por lo demás la acción transcurre en un escenario totalmente islámico donde la mayoría de la gente es musulmana.
Es por esa razón que el cuento se suele situar en Arabia, incluyendo Disney, que hizo que la historia transcurriera en Agrabah.
